On Thursday 5th October 2023, Mr Howard McIntosh, Head of One Concacaf and Caribbean Projects, visited the Montserrat Football Association Inc.

During his visit, Mr. McIntosh met with staff and executive members from the Montserrat Football Association Inc. and toured the newly constructed Dormitory facility at the Blakes Estate Stadium.

Mr McIntosh remarked that he is ‘very pleased’ with the new facility and feels ‘excited for the upcoming opening of the building which will catalyze new opportunities for the Association and the Montserrat community.’   He also expressed his compliments to the staff and executive members of MFA Inc. for their ‘impressive accomplishments’ in completing this flagship project.

The MFA inc. wholeheartedly thanks Concacaf and Mr McIntosh for the eminent support and looks forward to collaboratively working with Concacaf on future projects.

In July 2019, The Montserrat Football Association Inc. began construction of a 35-room dormitory. This project was funded by The FIFA Forward Programme with the aim of supporting the development of football in Montserrat.
